Celebrating Cohort 5: A Memorable Graduation at At-Tibyan Tech Academy
On Saturday, 14th December 2024, At-Tibyan Tech Academy hosted the grand graduation ceremony for Cohort 5, marking the successful completion of their UI/UX design training. The event was filled with insightful discussions, project presentations, and joyful celebrations, all made possible through the guidance and dedication of our students, staff, and esteemed guests.
The Director’s Inspiring Lecture: The Business of Design
The highlight of the day was the impactful lecture delivered by the Academy’s Director, Mr. Toyeeb Shuaib Atata, titled “The Business of Design: Thriving in the Professional World.” Mr. Atata emphasized the importance of merging creative skills with business strategies to succeed in the fast-evolving design industry. He shared practical insights on building a design portfolio, networking effectively, and understanding client needs. His lecture left graduates motivated and better prepared to navigate their professional journey.
Project Defense: Showcasing Innovation and Creativity
A major segment of the event featured the students’ Final Project Defense, where they presented their design solutions to a panel of judges. Each project reflected the students’ understanding of user experience, interface design, and problem-solving skills.
After a rigorous assessment, Batch B emerged as the standout group, with Kaothar and Busayo impressing the judges with their innovative project. Their design solution was not only user-friendly but also demonstrated excellent research, functionality, and visual appeal. Their achievement earned them special recognition as the Best Project Team for this cohort.
Fun, Games, and Refreshments
The celebration continued with engaging games that brought laughter and excitement to the day. Students, instructors, and guests participated actively, strengthening bonds and creating lasting memories. To cap off the event, everyone enjoyed a variety of delicious refreshments, providing the perfect opportunity for relaxed networking and reflection on the journey so far.
